I like that the filter fits perfectly and it does a great job filtering the water. The only downside is the filter does not last as long as the manufacturer’s filter…but then again I didn’t pay manufacturer price

not the same as the expensive one, only filters 12 contaminants.
The filter I’d been buying was almost twice as much, but it removed 50+ contaminants, including some BPA, mercury, asbestos, reduce pfos, some pharmaceuticals, and some pesticides and herbicides. Just be aware of what you are getting, it’s really hard to determine that from the description. disappointed. this one only claims to filter 12 impurities. The labeling doesn’t help. both say MWF.

Buying genuine GE replacement filters avoids the problems other reviewers have noted for knock-offs. Worth the incremental cost, IMHO.

There are lots of non- genuine substitutes out there for cheap to be careful of. This is the real thing, at a price competitive with that off-brand stuff. Service and delivery as specified by the vendor. Would buy from it again!

New water filter for GE refrigerator arrived in a timely manner and was exactly as described. At ,about 1/2 the price of same item when purchased at Lowes. Military discount typically offered at Lowes does not apply to this MWF filter.

These are the best water filters ! We tried a different brand that was cheaper and we got what we paid for….leaking !! These are the best water filters made ! I would highly recommend paying a little more and get this water filter. We have never had any issues with this brand.
