Works
Install and it filters the water. They are pricy but the water is good. Never had one to fail. Frig tells us when to get another. The actually last a bit longer than 6 months.

Quality GE original replacement filter
Works fine. Some reviewers stated that it didn’t work. I think the reason for this is that they didn’t twist in on in place all the way. When I first installed mine I didn’t twist it all the way on like I throught and no water came out. After I taking a closer look I realized that it wasn’t turned all the way in until it locked. It takes a little extra force to lock it in place. Worked perfectly after fighting it all the way.

Great toy for working off some energy!
Bought this for our eight year old grandson and it was a big hit! I appreciated the guidelines for weight range (to make sure he was heavy enough to torque the spring) and the recommendation on how to help “break it in”. In short order he was getting some good success and now both of his brothers want their own pogo sticks!

Did not work and cut off water supply.
It was faulty and cost me all sorts of time on the phone with the seller, GE, amazon. I could not just return it because I did not find it faulty until I installed it and they would not take it back without the original packaging. I have bought these from Amazon for years and this is the first problem but different seller. I wish I had anticipated it would be broken so I could have kept the packaging. GE was fine. They sent me a filter bypass for free. I keep getting nasty emails from the supplier and tried to answer their requests but they keep emailing me I am suspended. This is not acceptable so buyer beware!!

Do not work- Don’t buy these.
These did not work on my refrigerator although they look authentic they are not. I could get no water at all with these filters installed. The hole in center was larger than my filter I had. This is why the price was so cheap. These are not authentic GE filters. The packaging and filter itself is not or are seconds. Don’t buy these they DO NOT work.

Took out new filter and put in old one and water comes out just fine so it is the new filter that is defective
Bought this filter and replaced old one already in my fridge. The filter is defective because my it made the water pressure really low. When I go to get water from the fridge it just trickles out. Took out new filter and put in old one and water comes out just fine so it is the new filter that is defective. Contacted seller . Waiting for reply.

Total crap. Expensive, defective crap.
Twice we’ve payed to have the filter receiver coupling/valve thingy replaced in our refrigerator and had the technician tell us that the filter cartridge caused the damage that necessitated the repair. Three strikes you’re out, GE. We’ll just live without.
