Overall: this filter is phenomenal and water tastes perfect. The absolute best water you will taste. You can also set it where it automatically sends a replacement when the filter is close to running out.Good parts: great tasting water, easy to install, simple design. Best water I’ve ever tasted in my life.Bad parts: this is the first product without a bad portion far as my reviews.Tips: when you install it, remember to run the water until all the air comes out and just a steady flow of water is coming out. Genuine Filter – double checked
Story: Bought a Samsung Bespoke fridge and it was the first time to replace the filter. With all these review and stories I was afraid. Original fridge filter says for use in system “DA97-08006C”. Ordered this filter and what came had everything the same and had the authenticator sticker but the new filter said for use in system “DA97-08006C-A”.I contacted Samsung to inquire about this as the last thing I want is to have water leak all over my floor. Samsung confirmed that it was the same filter and that I could safely use it in my refrigerator. I installed it and still months later it is working fine and had zero leaks.Tip: turn off the water to the fridge before changing out filter.

Im not sure about this filter. It took away the bad tast and odor of the water but when used the TDS tester the levels of the water were still pretty high. So I’m not sure if this filter is just to take taste and odor away.

do not buy aftermarket filters for a Samsung refrigerator; buy this one. Much more expensive and seem to last a shorter time than the cheaper ones but this one fits, works and does not cause my refrigerator to flash up errors. Recommend but wish it was not so darn expensive!!!

I learned my lesson about using non-genuine replacement filters (ugh) so was happy to find this genuine Samsung replacement water filter for my bespoke Samsung 3 door refrigerator. Super easy to install – turn the water source off, twist and remove the old filter, slip this one in, twist to lock, close the door and you’re good to go!! Easiest change of water filter I’ve ever done. Since it only needs to be changed @ every 6 months, it’s well worth the price.

The Amazon package was ripped and the box had clearly been opened. Though the product was as fine inside, someone opened that box. Do not take it out once it’s in!
Once you put it in, DO NOT take it out! I took ours out to check what filter number we needed and put the filter back in. It then proceed to flood the entire drawer and into the freezer in a matter of 30 minutes.

I just bought a house that had an offbrand filter in the refrigerator. I had to use pliers to remove it. The previous owners left me another filter that I couldn’t get into the refrigerator filter slot. The Samsung filter went in very easily! It’s definitely worth the extra money!!!
