The replacement MSWF Filter Does not work at all
We had to continue to use our old worn water filter because the replacement MSWF Filter we purchased from Amazon and installed did not work at all, it did not let any water through the filter.We read a review that some criminal vendors are selling aftermarket filters as GE OEM Filters.These criminal vendors should have charges pressed against them in court.

Not for GE MSWF refrigerators
THe pictures of the filter do not match the filter in the box and is not working with the refrigerator. I contacted the manufacture and they told me that description pictures are one and do not shows the product in the box. So, I returned and installed back my old filter until I will be able to findd the proper one.

The model numbers did not match. The dates on the boxes did not match the dates on the filters. The picture shown does not match the filter. The filters would not pass water. Now my fridge makes a noise when I use the old filter to get water. Do not purchase.

Filter does not work. Giving it one star vastly overrates it.
After installing filter, water did not flow.I called GE customer service, who told me that GE is suing Amazon for selling defective filters. Although this was advertised as a GE product and came packaged as a GE product, it apparently is not and does not contain the right kind of chip to communicate properly with the refrigerator.I would strongly recommend not buying any GE product [or anything else, for that matter] from this vendor.
